1. What is HarmonyOS?
HarmonyOS is a new operating system that makes Android and iOS look like Windows XP.
The Basics of the Harmony OS is a stylish little release targeted specifically for mobile devices.
The most exciting feature is the fact that applications and software can be run on top of hardware. All major Android and iOS applications can be installed on the Harmony OS, thereby giving developers a much greater level of flexibility when starting a new project. This is significant because currently, iOS and Android are the only two major mobile operating systems which allow apps to run directly on hardware.
Harmony OS will seamlessly run on top of Android and iOS:
Smartphones that run HarmonyOS will automatically be set to remain unlocked and unbranded — they will only access what is in their memory, default to sending SMS messages to each other, and will completely bypass the phone number apps installed on iOS and Android.
Because Android has a 1 minute delay between when a notification is sent and when it is received on Facebook and Twitter, Android notifications will appear in HarmonyOS within seconds of receiving them. With this in place, new notifications can be pushed directly to your phone directly from HarmonyOS’ custom notification dashboard:
Again, on the off chance that notification sync is not set up, iOS, or Android pair the notification that happened with the specific action being taken:
What this means is that you can change the notification shade on your phone or tablet in seconds.
2. Why is HarmonyOS better than iOS and Android?
HarmonyOS is the new operating system that was announced at the end of last year. The OS is designed to support all of the company’s future devices, including the new foldable phone. With HarmonyOS, it’s easier to switch between your phone, tablet, and laptop.Read on for everything you need to know about HarmonyOS today! What is HarmonyOS? HarmonyOS is an operating system based entirely on Android with a twist. You won’t find any iOS or Android apps on Harmony OS. Instead, the data and applications will come from various partner app stores, including Google Play, Baidu, Yahoo, and Facebook Mobile. When you run Android, the OS sees a specific piece of hardware — the phone — , which is why HarmonyOS will also support ARM processor phones. However, while Android is a single piece of hardware, Harmony OS can be mixed andd-matched with any mobile processor on the market. Aside from the hardware mix-and-match options, Harmony OS allows for a lot more flexibility, since it doesn’t require much storage space. It has a root file system that will store your app data and applications, but then automatically moves most other files and data over to the next app, for a “data recycling” effect on mobile devices. This also prevents the OS from causing storage usage hogs to run amok. For example, if you have 6 apps all using the same data and you switch to the next app for a song, the next couple of songs won’t all be stored in the same location. A separate server stores locations for your app data on a separate location separate from the primary OS. To prevent the OS from getting bogged down with non-critical files, the server only stores the files that are needed for each app at any given moment. If you need to change the song for the third song on a playlist, you won’t have to wait 15 minutes for the OS to download it — the third song will be updated instantly.

3. How can developers get involved in the project?
So first, all developers are welcome to contribute to the project; there are many things you can do to help. For example, if you're good at writing documentation or creating tutorials, then you can help us with that, if you know how to create graphics, then you can help with that. We’ll then organize the best of these loads of contributions and create guides and tutorials to help you all develop for HarmonyOS! Where is Google headed? This is a question that has long sought an answer from Google. Will they continue down the path of free and open-sourced internet search, or will they move to a completely closed system, and service Google via their own proprietary search engine? Google themselves have not publicly answered this question. When we asked them, they indicated that they were still in the discovery phase. But they did hint that they were aware that an operating system could work well on another platform. What does Harmonious mean? I am going to translate this article purely for general reference, but to understand the full picture you need to go and read what this new Chinese OS means. The Harmony OS is Android and iOS rolled into one operating system. Instead of being a completely open system, HarmonyOS is fully complete by default. Google can’t touch it due to non-association of the two. However, we are still in the discovery phase for Google. Particularly regarding operating systems and app development. But the squids have been out in the wild! The big name in app development and SEO, Apptentive are rolling out their ‘Search Analytics Suite’ for enterprises. With the announcement of HarmonyOS, they will be a powerful cloud marketing platform to help manage all your mobile connections. They no longer need to pay for the building of a separate Search Analytics Suite for each location and every country. This means Apptentive can now focus on developing a bridge between their online and offline app marketing efforts, without the need for building a separate platform for that purpose.
