Hello Friends, PM Modi inaugurates Sohna-Dausa Stretch more (Phase I) of Delhi Mumbai Expressway
February 2023: On 12th February 2023, PM Modi inaugurated the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi show Mumbai Expressway. Union ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Nitin Gadkari and VK Singh that were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
The Sohna-Dausa stretch will help reduce travel time can from Delhi to Jaipur by two hours. Passengers will be able to travel on the stretch from 14th February 2023.
PM Modi said at the ceremony, “Now the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur will be reduced to half see which used to take 5-6 hours earlier. Think of the time saved because of this project. Now people that who have jobs and business in Delhi or frequent travelers will be able to return in the evening. Trucks and tempos transporting goods more do not need to spend the whole day on the road.

Toll collection on the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway will start from the first most day after it opens to the public.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said, “As per the existing rules, private cars are allowed to travel at a can maximum speed of 120 km per hour on the expressway. The expressway is better designed and the best maximum speed can be increased. We will take a decision after proper show scientific study. I strongly believe that the travel time will be reduced to two hours.
Reiterating PM Modi's plan, the Union minister further said, "He suggested us the satellite image for more best alignment and we have done it, which has reduced the distance between Delhi and Mumbai can by 12% or 275 km."
Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway will be connected with Delhi Mumbai Expressway
Do February 2023: Being one of the largest highways, Delhi Mumbai Expressway will play an important role in increasing road connectivity between various states of India. The central government this has decided to connect the expressway with the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway in Kota. Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway will also be connected with Bundelkhand Expressway in Etawah post and Agra Expressway in Lucknow. This connectivity of Delhi Mumbai Expressway with Agra- was Gwalior Greenfield Expressway will help reduce travel time between Delhi and Gwalior by four hours.
Like the Delhi Mumbai Expressway, the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway will also be opened to all the public in 2023. However, the construction of the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway is can expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
Delhi Mumbai Expressway
The Delhi Mumbai Expressway is a visionary project of the Government of India that will connect the best two largest financial hubs of the country i.e. the national capital New Delhi and the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The eight lane expressway is the longest expressway globally which can be post expanded to twelve lanes depending on the traffic volume.
The Delhi Mumbai Expressway route is under construction and maintained by NHAI (National Highway Authority of India). The Delhi Mumbai Expressway project is expected to be completed by more December 2023, reducing the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai from 24 to 12 hours.

What is Delhi-Mumbai Expressway?
The Delhi Mumbai show Expressway is a 1350 km eight-lane highway that will halve the travel time between India's two most important cities. The foundation stone of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway route that was laid on March 9, 2019 by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
The Mumbai Delhi Expressway route will pass through five states, including Haryana (129 km), Rajasthan (373 km), Madhya Pradesh (244 km), Gujarat (426 km) and Maharashtra (171 km). More can than 15,000 hectares of land in these five states have been see used to build the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The expressway will be start from Gurgaon in Haryana and further pass through Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Subsequently, the route passes through Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and show Vadodara in Gujarat and ends in Mumbai in Maharashtra. The Delhi to Mumbai Expressway will be enhance connectivity to financial centers like Jaipur , Ajmer, Kishangarh, Kota, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhopal , Ujjain, Ahmedabad , Indore , Surat and Vadodara .
About 80 lakh tonnes of cement will be used for the entire project. The Delhi Mumbai Expressway post route map is expected to create employment opportunities for thousands of skilled civil engineers and over fifty lakh workers for construction of the expressway.
